The Ocean Holidays Group was founded in 2004 by two sets of brothers: Daniel and David Ox, and George and Harry Hastings, who are still very much active in the business today. With a vision to be the leading long haul and luxury travel provider, the group consists of three distinct travel brands; Ocean Florida, the largest direct-to-consumer Florida and USA specialists of their kind in Europe; personalised travel management company, Winged Boots which leads in luxury leisure followed by business travel; and Ocean Beds, a worldwide provider of Florida vacation home rentals and hotels to the global travel trade. In addition, as of June 2025 Hays Travel, the largest independent travel company in the UK, took a significant minority investment in Ocean Holidays to accelerate the business’s next phase of expansion.
