ROAST has appointed Daniel McIntosh as chief client officer. McIntosh joins the independent digital agency in a move to bolster the agency’s senior management team and expand the agency’s offering.
At ROAST, McIntosh will be responsible for ensuring all clients are receiving the very best service; overseeing and driving forward business development initiatives, as well as diversifying ROAST’s services.
McIntosh brings a wealth of experience with him, joining from ROAST Founder Oliver Bishop’s previous agency, STEAK, where he was Managing Director. There he played an instrumental role in stabilising and growing revenue for the digital agency and sat on the Dentsu Aegis leadership team. He was also responsible to oversee the merger between STEAK and Fetch; ensuring a smooth transition. Previous to this, McIntosh was Client Services Director, where he led cross-network initiatives for clients such as Eurostar, Carnival and Allianz.
McIntosh comments on the appointment, “Returning to an independent agency excites me for multiple reasons, but most importantly it’s being surrounded by the infectious entrepreneurial spirit and the flexibility to adapt; enabling us to deliver the best possible service to our clients. At ROAST there is a commonality in ambition and the growth the agency is experiencing is down to that shared goal; I’m joining at an incredibly exciting time.”
CEO and Founder Ollie Bishop continued: “I’ve worked with Daniel for many years when I owned STEAK, and I have implicit trust in his ability and what he will bring to ROAST. We are in the middle of a new stage of expansion, however, despite this growth, we remain obsessed with offering our clients the best strategic direction whilst driving proactive, close relationships; Daniel is key to ensuring that continues to happen.”
ROAST have grown to 50 plus staff over the course of two years working on clients such as Experian, Unibet and InsureandGo.
