Westside’s furniture range was large and they didn’t have the space to showcase every piece in store. We identified the opportunity to use technology to solve the problem and drive deeper customer engagement. Built on the iPad and using open-source technology developed in-house, we created India’s first ever in-store browsing app, showcasing the full Westside furniture range.
Customers can browse the digital catalogue, searching by collection or category and place orders directly online. Integrated with SAP, it checks stock in real time, supports product comparison and provides close detail inspection of products with high res imagery. The iPad app has positioned Westside at the forefront of commercial consumer innovation, driving greater engagement with their customers and opening more ways for them to shop.
