Data Driven Search

iCrossing explain how they integrated SEO, PPC and UX to drive traffic to and increase site interactions on the Virgin Experience Days website

Brief

To maximise online sales and improve user engagement.
Strategy

iCrossing employed an integrated SEO, PPC and UX campaign to drive traffic to and increase site interactions on the Virgin Experience Days website.
Execution

We applied linguistic profiling to identify key search terms and produced natural links that would strengthen the sites visibility.

Our research indicated unexpected language anomalies between search queries and the language used on the website. It also revealed activities that were frequently pluralised or searched for in specific locations.

We connected this insight in the launch of the new Virgin Experience Days site. Landing pages for major search terms were created, while UX recommendations around navigation and task flows were applied reducing bounce rates.
Results

Non-brand SEO revenue was increased by 67 per cent, PPC revenue by 100 per cent while the bounce rate was reduced from 45 per cent to 15 per cent.
