Kagool Welcomes Miranda Glover as Head of Marketing

Glover will drive growth for agency, which recently acquired Delete to bolster its position in the marketing technology and digital experience space.

Digital agency Kagool, one of the UK’s only independent Sitecore Platinum Partners, today welcomes Miranda Glover as its new group head of marketing.

Glover is an experienced digital leader with over 20 years’ experience, beginning her digital career in the first .com boom. Her varied career has encompassed digital communications, digital transformation, strategy, and DXP in which Glover has expertise in Sitecore, Umbraco, and Adobe Experience Manager.

Glover joins Kagool from Great State, where she was previously a business director. Through her marketing programme there, she attracted new clients including Honda, Aston Villa FC, BA, Cos, and the World Food Organisation among others. Prior to this role, Glover worked at E3 (before it merged with LSU to become Great State), The Global Academy of Digital Marketing and Intelligence Collective. At FMI Group, she oversaw global accounts including LG Mobile, EE/Orange, Prada, Jil Sander, and others. Glover’s marketing and new business programmes have been recognised by awards including those from BIMA (Digital leaders 2019) and The Drum (New business awards 2018 and 2019).

In her newly created role, Glover will work to increase brand awareness and drive the overall growth of the agency, by helping Kagool attract enterprise-level businesses for their DXP specialisms.

Kagool recently acquired Delete, a multi-award-winning digital experience agency, as part of Kagool’s growth strategy to become the leader in marketing technology and digital experience.

Glover commented on her new role, “I am looking forward to developing an ambitious and targeted communication programme for this powerful new agency acquisition. Kagool’s ambition to be the leading DXP specialists in the marketplace chimes with my background working with experience-led propositions and future-view brands. Combining Kagool’s impressive Sitecore heritage with the creative zeal of Delete positions the agency perfectly to take on the larger networks as an independent at scale.”

Kagool CEO Dan Berry commented on Glover’s appointment, “Our new structure means we now have group-level strategies to develop and deploy. We identified the need for a senior marketing professional to help create, own, and deploy a scalable marketing strategy; someone who can lead but also roll their sleeves up for tactical delivery. With the agency’s future acquisition plans, the fact that we found Miranda, who has  experience of steering agencies through M&As gives us even more confidence in the success of our plans.”
