Johnson & Johnson

StreamUK provide webcasting for DePuy (Johnson & Johnson), enabling the company to provide everything from interactive presentations and product demos to their live Do-Surgery’ webinars

History

StreamUK are now well into the third year of delivering EMEA webcasting for DePuy (Johnson & Johnson). Event types range from interactive webcasts with slides, questions and downloadable documents – delivered via our webcasting platform, Stream Connect – through to HD video-only streams of live surgery – using our advanced online video platform, Stream Media Platform.

Challenges And Results

DePuy is one of the largest and most broadly based orthopaedics, spinal care, sports medicine and neuroscience device companies in the world. It’s imperative that their global salesforce and surgeons are fully supported with product resources and training. A key element of this has become www.do-surgery.com, a comprehensive e-learning resource used by over 9,000 surgeons.

Thousands of surgeons now benefit from live video demos rather than PDF downloads. Live events range from interactive presentations and product demos, right through to live surgeries: StreamUK need to provide the right webcast solution every time.

Challenges have ranged from providing IP connectivity in French hospitals through to ensuring optimum transcoding to allow surgeons to watch the same event on a cinema-size screen or on the move via their mobile. Having initially provided standalone microsites or URLs, we now also provide hosted events as iframes to be embedded in the do-surgery.com website.
