Events International

The Challenge

Events International partnered with Absolute Digital Media with the aim of increasing their organic traffic and overall search results page visibility. Their website was newly designed and as a result, it needed to work harder to generate more leads for the business.

The initial audit of the site was that it had a few page one and two rankings, but lacked exposure for some of the most competitive industry keywords, in particular, the keyword ‘corporate hospitality’ and other long-tail variants.

The Strategy

In order to to increase their organic traffic and overall search results page visibility, Absolute Digital Media conducted the initial audit to determine the strengths and weaknesses of Events International’s website. One of the issues they found and resolved was existing content duplication on the site.

Once content duplication had been resolved, they worked on freshening up the existing content and created unique, high quality, optimised content for new pages. This new and optimised content earned Events International links from numerous authoritative, relevant industry websites.

Absolute Digital Media will continue to provide them with ongoing technical support.

The Results

The partnership was a success, with Events International ranking in top positions for hospitality-based keywords. They ranked in:

  • Position three for ‘Rugby Hospitality’
  • Page one for competitive keywords ‘Corporate Hospitality’ and ‘Ascot Hospitality’.

They also gained a:

  • 100 per cent increase in page one positions
  • 47 per cent increase in organic traffic.
