Web Build, CMS & UX 21 January 2016
We kick off the year with a session dedicated to optimising your web presence and providing user experiences that get customers coming back. Find out how to ensure content strategy, technology and performance are aligned to create the most effective experience possible. Among the speakers will be Rob Jones at Manchester agency Code Computerlove, whose recent projects include the launch of a new website and content marketing plan for HMV, and the creation of a multi-award-winning app for Chester Zoo. Discover how lean principles can be applied to CMS migration, as well other large scale digital projects.
Social Media Marketing Seminar 28 January 2016
Last year saw significant developments across all the major social platforms. Instagram established itself as the king of engagement, beating Facebook and Twitter. Brands including Vodafone and Unilever started making successful use of Snapchat’s deeply immersive offering and the access it provides to young, engaged users on the go. Periscope further extended the possibilities of streaming video. And everywhere we saw a focus on social channels’ role in the conversion process in the form of buy buttons. At this session we’ll be looking forward to the next 12 months on social media, finding out how to counter content fatigue and focusing on those all-important measurement metrics.
Digital Retail & Ecommerce Seminar 2 February 2016
At this morning seminar, which combines presentations with a roundtable session, delegates will have the chance to quiz our speakers on the only issue that really matters: how to sell more stuff online. Among the speakers will be experts from Episerver and De’Longhi Group, who’ll present a case study focused on Kenwood’s new responsive ecommerce platform. And Anastasia Roumelioti, Head of Marketing at Hawes & Curtis, will discuss the brand’s emphasis on customer-centricity, storytelling and strategic partnerships.
Paid Search & SEO 4 February 2016
Arguably, no area of marketing has changed as much, or as quickly, as search. At this session we’ll be examining the new rules of engagement and finding out why content, trust and authority are key signals. Barracuda Digital will be putting Google’s new RankBrain algorithm on the couch and explaining how machine learning is enabling Google to better understand user intent. Search Laboratory will analyse the principles of content creation. And Builtvisible will explain how to develop content that meets real KPIs, not meaningless SEO metrics.
Digital Marketing Summit 25 February 2016
Join us for a full day session at The Emirates Stadium, specifically designed for marketers seeking new partners for digital projects. As well as a full seminar programme, delegates have the opportunity to take part in face-to-face meetings with participating agencies – all pre-arranged by Figaro Digital’s events team. On the agenda is everything from affiliate marketing and analytics to search, social, email, web design and video. If you’re looking for expert insight, inspiration and new connections with potential partners, this is the event for you.
Ecommerce Seminar 3 March 2016
Key to any ecommerce offering is the creation of an effective, trackable multichannel customer journey and a top drawer user experience. As digital comes to play an increasingly central role in everything from acquisition to advocacy, we’ll be examining the relationship between online and offline, exploring measurement, design, engagement (and re-engagement) and explain how you can give your conversion rates a serious kick.
Digital B2B Marketing Seminar 8 March 2016
Are distinctions in strategy between B2B and B2C marketing really warranted? Aren’t all marketers seeking the same thing: meaningful, human relationships with customers? At this morning seminar and roundtable session delegates will have the opportunity to talk to our speakers about marketing in a B2B context and asking whether the shift from customer experience to client experience is as dramatic as it looks.
Content Marketing Seminar 10 March 2016
Content forms your brand’s shop-front, its first sales call, it establishes identity and it reaches – you hope – the audiences your competitors can’t. With 80 per cent of marketers planning to produce more content in 2016 (according to the CMA) our experts will discuss tips, tools and tactics to help you cut through the clutter, from the consideration phase right through to the post-conversion comedown.
Digital Travel, Leisure & Entertainment Seminar 23 March 2016
In this industry-specific session our team of experts will unpack one of the most ubiquitous terms in marketing – ‘digital transformation’ – and explain what it means for those working at the industry’s coal-face. Speakers include Peter Barker, CTO at Rufus Leonard, who’ll focus on the journey undertaken by Stagecoach as they’ve redrawn their digital roadmap, encouraging a billion annual travellers to get on board.
