Dynamic Learning reaches more than 350,000 students and teachers with the help of MMT Digital

Award-winning company celebrates success in education sector following nearly a decade developing online learning products 

 London, UK ­– 27 January 2016: MMT Digital, a specialist UX, design and build agency, has made a significant contribution in online learning following the redesign and redevelopment of Hodder Education’s Dynamic Learning product that was first built back in 2008.

Dynamic Learning is an online platform for schools and Further Education colleges which offers a range of subscription products for teaching and learning, to aid lesson planning, front-of-class teaching, assessment and independent learning.

Hodder Education has seen a surge in popularity in its products during the last 12 months, and now has more than 17,000 subscriptions across 82 countries around the world, and in excess of 50,000 teachers and 300,000 students now regularly using the platform. MMT Digital built the original award-winning product and has subsequently implemented several upgrades to produce a stunning design that is intuitive and easy to navigate for every user.

Hodder Education’s Dynamic Learning product has received high praise from the education industry, creating improved opportunities for teachers to manage their classes, assign work and grade tests and enhancing learning opportunities for students across the board. MMT Digital has created a number of digital products and websites for Hodder during recent years, including Hodder’s latest project to improve the look and feel of its website, and make it fully responsive with a user friendly e-commerce platform.

MMT Digital works with clients from a wide range of industry sectors providing four key services, from establishing commercially successful user experiences and digital strategies, to creating websites and large scale, highly technical applications. The company has reported growth levels of more than 50 per cent year on year for the last three years, and has provided market-leading services for an impressive list of household brands, in addition to expanding its expertise in the education sector.

The company continues to work closely with Hodder Education, one of the largest secondary school publishers in the UK, and has also undertaken a range of high level project for companies such as Pearson and BBC Active.

Pearson, the world’s leading education company, required a tool that would provide a more interactive experience for their online learning product, ActiveTeach. MMT Digital created a JavaScript app called ActiveText to enable Pearson to have pixel perfect representations of their printed books with interactive features to enhance the user experience. ActiveText allows users to play audio to hear a word spoken, get definitions of words on the page, or take part in online tests and play videos, and is compatible with both mobiles and tablets.

BBC Active also selected MMT Digital to build a series of apps for the highly regarded Quickstart series of language learning CD-ROMS. The companies joined forces and used the Quickstart content to target the app towards holiday makers looking to learn the basics of a new language before and during their trip.
