Passionate about innovation and always challenging the status quo through new approaches, technology and digital,  Alex has over 17-year digital and communications experience gained at a number of national and international not-for profit organisations, including Oxfam, Save the Children, Plan International, Tech Partnership and Macmillan Cancer Support. He is currently Head of Digital and Content at the MS Society. He is passionate about social media and digital communication and he is a strong advocate for a co-ordinated social and digital communications approach to content creation, development, and dissemination, coupled with strong analytics analysis – all to improve the success of digital engagement activities. Such of the achievements include:  having introduced in the UK the first ever facial recognition advertising and commended in 2015 in The Drum Content Awards for a social media campaign.
