Becoming the no.1 choice for their no.1 priority

For students, getting tip-top broadband is their No.1 priority. BD Network needed to make sure Virgin Media was their No.1 choice.

There’s a limited window for attracting new student customers and BD Network had to move fast.

Students tend to engage with brands they love (with the potential to be loyal customers), so winning their affection was key.

Now, broadband may be top of the list…

…but it’s known what’s a close second – food. Cutting insights here, people.

It all started with a doughnut. Then with a phased approach over the summer, BD Network’s experiential and social media led campaign successfully recruited over 10,000 students at the start of term.

And if there was increase in online pizza orders, they’re probably responsible for that too.
