Barclaycard Webinars

StreamUK provided Barclaycard with a webcast platform and fully branded Barclaycard Webinars microsite

The Challenge

Barclaycard required a webcasting and online administration tool for a series of webinars to announce changes and developments within the financial payments industry.

The Strategy

A series of webinars was broadcast using StreamUK’s webcast platform Stream Connect, a platform that allows audiences to interact with speakers, download information and access on-demand footage alongside a live webcasting feed.

StreamUK was responsible for building a bespoke and fully branded Barclaycard Webinars microsite which held the Stream Connect player, fully cohesive with the Barclays brand.

Stream Connect was made fully compatible with mobile and tablet devices, increasing accessibility for users away from their desktop. The tool also archived the content and made it available on-demand for registered users of the Barclaycard Webinars webcast.

Stream Connect functionality enabled users to access and download relevant documentation as well as view slides and media which was fully synchronised with the live presentation content. Interactive features also enabled users to submit questions and communicate with Barclaycard during and after the live broadcast.

The Results

The Barclaycard Webinars campaign was a great success for the organisation and agency involved. Subscription numbers grew and awareness increased. The interactive features and functionality also enhanced engagement with the bank’s customers which ultimately improved Barclaycard’s relationship with its clients.
